Let me share with you guys a short story about my hair’s journey…
During my college years, I used to have my hair rebonded every 6 or 8 months (or as long as my curly/ wavy hair starts to show up and grow). Even up to year 2015 I go to salons and let them do the magic. (That was my hair routine for six years.) Until one day, I got tired of rebonding my hair and it also came to a point that it was super duper dry, so brittle and totally dead. 😦 Plus it was very expensive already in my part that I do my hair for at least twice a year.
So last year in the month of March, I decided to have my hair permed for the very first time so that I won’t have to rebond it anymore and it’ll just look like my natural hair when it grows. And then just trim it every month or once in two months.
After a year of doing that, I learned to love my natural locks but I have to admit that there are so many times when I always have bad hair days. So just a week ago, I decided (again) to treat my crowning glory called Brazilian Blowout. And tadaaaa… from frizzy, wavy and super unhealthy hair to frizz-free, shiny, soft and looks naturally straight hair!
When it comes to my hair, I am kind of obsessed with it to the smallest possible detail. For me, if you have a beautiful hair all through out the day, your mood is uplifted and the rest of the day is pleasant. You should take care of your hair just as how you take good care of your skin. They are of equal importance and neither one of them should be taken for granted. ❤
All thanks to Hairs and Nails Salon for the good service and taking care of my hair.
It was my first time to shoot this alone since my #bloggerjowa Ranel was at work that time. And I’m still a bit shy talking in front of the camera so please pagbigyan niyo muna guys ah! 😀 Enjoooy!
