TRAVEL JOURNEY: BAGUIO CITY DAY 1

Say hello to the city of pines!! It’s been such a long time since my first and last visit in Baguio. Well, our first day was not the day I expected it to be. Here’s what happened guys…

We traveled from Manila at 3 o’clock in the morning and arrived in Baguio at around 8 in the morning without our luggages. It was unfortunate that the other car carrying our stuff broke down along the course of the trip that was supposed to arrive TOGETHER with us. So while waiting for the other car to arrive, we took the time to sleep and rest first from our long drive hoping for the car to arrive as soon as we wake up. But unfortunately again, the car still didn’t arrive yet. 😢 And that was around 4 o’clock in the afternoon – no bath, no change of clothes, no face wash, no everything (except for my hand-carry bag). And I was like, “I don’t want to waste my first day in Baguioooo. Nooo!”

So instead of staying home and do nothing, Ranel and I still decided to go out and make a tour around the city even though it was a bit late already and no bath. (forgive us!) But who cares, no one knows us there! What’s important is that we still looked at the brighter side of the unfortuitous situation even though it didn’t turn out the way we anticipated it to be. (And even though I only wore slippers (YES! Slippers!) during that time. My feet were totally freeziiiing!!) We still had fun and took a lot of pictures with the never ending walks touring the downtown of Baguio City. Aaahh makes me miss Baguio so much!! Enjoy the photos guys as much as we enjoyed taking it.
