Last Saturday, I had a heart-warming experience in one of the new booming food industries/ cafes here in Davao – 185 Café.
Of course, my very supportive Ranel came along with me to see the place and try their foods together. When we went there, we actually got a bit lost but eventually found the place and arrived there just in time for the café to open. I super love the place and its cool vibe ambiance. It is such a good place to hang out with friends or colleagues or loved ones and have some chit-chats overload.
This place is also perfect if you just want to have some chill or study, do some work and personal stuffs, or even some “me time”. The decorations, those cute different stuffs and sayings placed on their wall and even the ceiling add to its cool vibe feeling. It’s a great place to go in whatever mood you have in your day, actually. *wink
185 Café can also be reserved for exclusive use – like if you want to celebrate your birthday, schedule a meeting with your staffs, celebrate Christmas party with barkadas, or any event that you want. But it will also depend on the number of guests that you’ll have. Usually if it reaches more than 30 guests, then they will close the whole café for you to use the whole area. They’ve got the best services for you guys and they are very flexible when it comes to your request.
And tadaaaa.. my favorite moment! LOL. We just ordered some of their best sellers.
Baby Back Ribs – P120
Grilled Pork Steak – P140
Chili Cheese Fries – P60
Cookies & Cream Smoothie – P60
Red Iced Tea – P40
There is actually nothing unique or instagrammable on how they set up their foods, but the TASTE and PRICING of their food is the cut above the rest! It’s a two thumbs up for their yummy food at very reasonable price. Totally happy tummy without hurting your wallet. 😉
For reservations, you may contact them at 224-5958 or 0932-800-8005. It is located at YL Dormitory Bldg. Padre Faura Street (Jacinto Street side & formerly Artiaga Street), Davao City. They are open from 10 am to 10 pm Monday to Saturday. If you guys hardly find it, just waze it and search “185 Café”. (just like what we did. LOL)
I would like to say a big thank you to Sir Peter and Ms. Bing for welcoming and accommodating me and Ranel with so much care and fun. And of course, si Ate #1 and Ate #2 for serving us thoughtfully. Absolutely found a new place to tambay! ‘Til next time 185 Café!
